Val Saint Lambert - Centrepiece (4) - Crystal - Valambert table centerpiece

This modular table runner, also referred to as a table centerpiece or river, is crafted from clear molded-pressed crystal. It comprises four independent pieces belonging to the Valambert model from the Val Saint Lambert manufacture, designed by Charles Graffart and René Delvenne for the official catalogue of 1913. The ensemble features a characteristic geometric pattern, adorned with raised diamond-point motifs in relief alternating with parallel lines and structured arches. This versatile set allows for various decorative arrangements along the center of the table to display floral compositions. The pieces do not bear any signature or any visible marking. The set includes two curved pieces, a rectangular element, and an elevated bridge-shaped piece. Regarding the measurements and mass of each component, the two curved parts have a height of 5 cm, a total length of 17 cm, and a depth of 4.5 cm, with a weight of 700 g. The rectangular element measures a height of 5 cm, a depth of 4.5 cm, and a length of 30 cm, with a weight of 800 g. The bridge piece reaches a maximum height of 11 cm, a depth of 4.5 cm, and a length of 30 cm, weighing 950 g. The cumulative total weight of these four pieces is 2450 g. The complete set is preserved in very good overall condition.
