An exceptional collectible featuring several clearly formed natural sapphire crystals that stand out prominently from the bright matrix. The crystals display intense blue, violet, and indigo tones, creating a strong contrast with the white and darkly glossy associated minerals.
The partly translucent nature of the sapphire is particularly appealing. When illuminated from the rear, the crystals are threaded with a vivid blue and reveal their inner color zoning and structure. The visible crystal faces and the partly preserved natural crystal form give the piece a strikingly original character.
The contrasting matrix with white patches, black to dark brown minerals, and individual golden-brown areas makes the overall tray visually very varied.
