Splendidly preserved late 18th-century bobbin lace. Unbelievably beautiful, made with many wooden bobbins on a cushion. Collectors will recognize this as barbe, a strip of lace hanging from the cap or from the hair at the back. Totally awesome.

Schitterend bewaard gebleven eind 18de eeuwse gekloste kantwerk. Ongelooflijk mooi gemaakt met vele houten klosjes op een kussen. Verzamelaars zullen dit herkennen als barbe, een strook kant hangende vanaf de muts of vanaf het haar op de rug. Helemaal gaaf.
