An exceptional collectible featuring several clearly developed natural sapphire crystals that notably stand out from the light matrix. The crystals display intense blue, violet, and indigo tones and create a strong contrast to the white and dark, glossy accompanying minerals.
The partially translucent nature of the sapphire is particularly attractive. When illuminated from the back, the crystals are threaded with a vivid blue and reveal their inner color zoning and structure. The visible crystal faces and the largely preserved natural crystal form give the piece a particularly primal character.
The contrasting matrix with white patches, black to dark brown minerals, and individual ochre-brown areas makes the overall specimen visually very varied.
