Figural mantel clock - Antique Spelter - 1850-1900 - Ph. Mourey

French figural pendulum clock by Ph. Mourey (Paris), second half of the 19th century.

Gilded case: a boy with a tricorne hat on a barrel with wine vines and grapes on an ornamental Rocaille pedestal, complemented by a matching black wooden base. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, Paris movement (8 days) with a half-hour strike on a bell. Stamped "4 PH. MOUREY 62".

Condition: The clock runs. Age-related wear, gilding partly rubbed, wooden base with small chips along the edges (see photos). Winding key and pendulum included.

Dimensions of the clock (excluding the wooden base): height approx. 26 cm, width approx. 28 cm, depth approx. 12 cm. Weight approx. 4–5 kg.
