One of the most iconic legends of analog audio.
I am offering for sale this magnificent Technics RS-1506US (4-track version), produced during the golden age of Japanese Hi-Fi (circa 1977-1980). This model is famous for its unique Isolated Loop belt system with quartz-controlled direct drive, offering exceptional rotational stability.

Condition and Revision:
The unit has benefited from a full professional overhaul. It is aesthetically in superb condition (see high-resolution photos) and perfectly functional in both playback and recording.
Important technical note (Brakes):
For complete transparency, I note that when stopping after a fast winding (forward or rewind), the braking lacks a bit of bite, creating a small “give” in the tape before immobilization. This is a minor point that does not affect sound quality or everyday use, but a simple tension adjustment can be performed by the future owner for absolute perfection.

NAB adapters: A pair of high-quality adapters (Revox-style) for 26.5 cm reels.
Metal reels: Two iconic 10.5" (26.5 cm) reels included — a Maxell and an Akai.
Tapes: The reels contain magnetic tapes. Note: The recordings on these tapes were not made on this Technics, so listening quality may vary depending on the original alignment. However, recording tests conducted on this machine after revision are excellent.
