Elegant antique Limoges porcelain dinner service, made by the A. Lanternier & Co. factory, a famous Limoges porcelain manufacturer.
The set features a delightful polychrome floral decoration, consisting of small roses, blue and yellow flowers and delicate foliage arranged on an ivory-white background. The pieces are adorned with a fine decorative gold border, which harmoniously accentuates their scalloped edges.
The decoration, particularly delicate and romantic, gives this service a great deal of charm and a beautiful table elegance.
The composition of the service:
12 flat plates with a diameter of 24.5 cm
6 deep plates with a diameter of 21.5 cm, height 4 cm
6 plates with a diameter of 22 cm
1 soup tureen with lid, diameter 24 cm, height 10 cm
1 sauce boat with a diameter of 14.3 cm, width between the spouts 17 cm, height 8 cm
1 round platter with a diameter of 29.5 cm
1 footed round dish with a diameter of 22 cm, height 5.5 cm
1 oval dish dimensions 43 x 27.5 cm
1 small oval dish dimensions 22.5 x 13.5 cm.
Very good overall condition with no cracks or crazing. Given the age of the service, light signs of use may be present.
