Jeff Burton is an American photographer. Born in 1963 in Anaheim (CA). He became famous for blending fine art, fashion, and subtle erotic imagery. He began his career in 1989 on the film sets of porn films for Catalina Video in . He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Texas Christian University and a Master of Fine Arts from the California Institute of Arts.
In his “free” photography he focuses on the everyday instead of explicit sexual acts by incorporating the surrounding environment—such as empty rooms—into the image, of which the sexual act becomes part. Thus voyeuristic, poetic and mysterious images arise from unusual angles and through light reflections. Burton's work is included in the collections of, among others, the Solomon Guggenheim Museum and MOCA in Los Angeles.
