Akai CD-D1 - Very Rare - CD Player
The Akai CD-D1 is a highly distinctive and rare early-generation Compact Disc player from the beginning of the digital-audio era. Introduced around 1982–1983, it was one of Akai’s first CD players and is particularly recognizable by its vertical CD loading system, allowing the disc to be viewed while playing. It was manufactured in Japan and is closely related to the Kyocera DA-01, with the same basic platform also appearing under brands such as Micro Seiki, Phase Linear, Rotel and Tensai.

To deliver this product properly, it is carefully packed in very strong boxes, thereby wrapped in bubble wrap with lots of padding.
