Fish serving cutlery in silver 833/000 and gilded bronze - Portugal, 1887–1937. Pair of fish-serving cutlery, consisting of a fork and a knife, with handles in Portuguese silver of fineness 833/000 and functional parts in gilded bronze. The handles feature raised decoration in a historicist taste, with vegetal and stylized floral motifs, oval reserves, scrolls and beaded elements. The decoration is highlighted by the contrast between polished surfaces and darkened backgrounds. Fork with four elongated tines and knife with a broad blade of curved and cut profile, both with a gilded finish. The pieces present Portuguese Javali II contrasts, corresponding to fineness 833/000 and to the period 1887–1937. They show signs of use and age.
