Two pre-Neolithic small tranchet axes made from beautiful flint from France, Seine-et-Marne region.
These small core axes were the precursors of polished axes and could only be used for a limited time. On one of the two, there are many signs of use on the edge.

Width: 32–33 mm
No restorations.
Each sold item/lot will be provided with an authenticity certificate.
The seller can prove that the lot was lawfully acquired.
The lot comes from a Belgian collection.
