Westraven - Dish (12) - Porcelain - Around the Zuiderzee

Splendid complete series of 12 Dutch decorative plates from the collection “Rondom de Zuiderzee,” made in the traditional Delft Blue style, with refined blue decoration on a white background.

Each plate depicts a different locality or characteristic scene from the Zuiderzee area, with landscapes, boats, architecture and scenes of Dutch tradition.

On the back is the Delft mark dating 1661 and the inscription:

“Rondom de Zuiderzee – Gelimiteerde serie van 5000 exemplaren – met certificaat – Made in Holland”

This is therefore a limited edition of 5,000 pieces.

The lot comprises 12 different plates, forming the complete collection.
