Description from the seller
Very rare semi-automatic calculator widely used in those years at the Italian Ministry of Public Works by high state officials, to draft expense estimates and other items for the realization of public works of any kind, to be carried out on the Italian national territory.
In excellent condition, perhaps made of steel-iron, with a total weight of 11.50 kg, supported by four rubber-coated feet, completely intact despite the many decades since its creation and use.
The walnut cabinet on which the item is placed in the photographic documentation is already included in the sale, as it has presumably always been used for that purpose.
Obviously the product should be collected by the prospective buyer (from the seller in Umbria), for obvious reasons of its weight, or alternatively add the shipping cost if I were to ship it, as requested by the shipping company that I will personally contact.
Originally this semi-automatic calculator, as IDENTIFIABLE on it, was produced by HOUSE ESTABLIMENT FOUNDED IN 1893 AT ZURICH, SWITZERLAND, WITH SERIAL NUMBER 3044 (H.W. EGLI).
