BOUD CEYSENS - Statue, Verbondenheid - 14.2 cm - Bronze - 2014

This remarkable bronze statue was created by the Belgian artist Boud Ceysens and dates from 2014. The expressive sculpture shows three stylized human figures holding each other by the arms, as a symbol of unity, cooperation, and community. The work is rendered in dark patinated bronze with striking gold-colored accents. On the back of the statue is signed “Boud Ceysens” and bearing the inscription “Parochie Kleine-Brogel + Wychmaal 2014.” This inscription points to a special ecclesiastical origin and makes the piece even more interesting.
