Gorgeous wine/champagne cooler, made for the house "POMMERY & GRENO" in Reims.

This 1940s cooler is in remarkably good condition and is still perfectly usable.
The cooler features an engraved colored inscription "Champagne Pommery & Greno Reims".

Beautiful heavy professional-grade cooler.
The bottom bears a Made in France imprint.

Material is Bakelite (registered trademark for phenolic resin) and is considered the very first fully synthetic plastic from the 1930s.

The cooler is in good condition, with very light signs of use, entirely original but with preserved character and patina.
A stylish ambiance-maker and eye-catcher on every table, bar, party, etc.
