Creaman Brut Millesimato Fasoli Gino, 2015 vintage, 0.75 L bottles, 4 bottles in total.
Description from the seller
“Creaman” is one of the most innovative and representative sparkling wines of Fasoli Gino winery, and its name comes from the Venetian dialect, where it means “handmade,” underscoring artisanal care and attention in every production stage. This wine represents the excellence of the Classic Method applied to Garganega, the native grape variety symbol of the Veronese territory. Production foresees an early manual harvest between late August and early September, with selection of grapes less exposed to sun to preserve high acidity and freshness. After a gentle pressing, the first fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. The second fermentation occurs in the bottle according to the Classic Method, with a long aging on the lees of about 80 months, followed by riddling and disgorgement.
Characteristics of this Veneto sparkling wine
On organoleptic examination it presents a bright straw-yellow color and a fine, persistent mousse. The bouquet is complex and refined, with notes of bread crust, field flowers and citrus hints, particularly cedar and bergamot. On the palate it is fresh, elegant and mineral, with great finesse that fully reflects Garganega’s identity and the long aging on the lees.
Recommended pairings with this Fasoli Gino Classic Method
It pairs perfectly with refined aperitifs, crudités, seafood antipasti, crustaceans, sushi and sashimi, but also with delicate vegetable-based first courses or light risottos. Its structure makes it suitable for an all-course meal in elegant settings. The recommended serving temperature is about 6 °C.
