Pierre Paulin - Cabinet - ABS, Glass - Space Age ABS Cabinet

Futuristic/ Space Age design Wall-mounted Cabinet attributed to Pierre Paulin for Allibert in the 1970s (France).

An iconic piece from the 1970s, originaly produced in France by Allibert. Masterfully combines functionality with futuristic design.
Made of translucent rigid ABS plastic, with 2 Mirror doors and E14 sockets on the back.
The molded ABS plastic structure remains in very good vintage condition, the glass doors show two very discreet and expected oxidation spots (foxing) on ​​the upper outer corners (nothing major).
The doors open to an organized and ingenious interior, with different compartments for organizing small everyday items, and includ a light switch and socket. The backlighting, when turned on, creates an incredible ambient light that transforms the cabinet into a true wall sculpture.

Condition: Very good vintage condition, plastics in very good condition.

Additional information:
Cabinet is in very good condition, with slight signs of use, but no significant damage or defects. ABS plastic with original white color nevertheless may show minor signs of age but no cracks, dents or deep yellowing (only minor light scratches, barely noticeble).
The doors have an exposed latch through the plastic and close but can't be locked "safely for child purposes" take that in consideration.

Note regarding electrical installation:
The photographs with the visible cable were taken only to demonstrate the part in operation (temporary connection for photographic purposes). The part has the electrical components hidden on the back, allowing for a clean wall installation with no visible cables on the front.
