Bronze signet ring with a bevelled, geometrically incised bezel forming an X-like motif, dating to the 11th–13th century AD, 18 mm inner diameter and 4.62 g; origin Germany, acquired in 2004 from a private collection in Austria, in good condition with some signs of wear.

Description: Bezel ring: it features an elaborate incised geometric decoration, mainly formed by several diagonal lines crossing in the central area, creating a motif resembling an “X” or cross.
Origin: Germany
Date: 11th to 13th centuries AD
Condition: Excellent, see photo.
Size: internal diameter 18 mm
Weight: 4.62 g.
It presents on its surface the calcifications and concretions typical of its age, and these are the best guarantee of its authenticity.
