Description from the seller
Elegant French Louis XV-style game table – Napoleon III era
Stunning and rare French Louis XV-style game table, dating from the second half of the 19th century, in the spirit of Napoleonic III-era furniture.
This elegant piece is distinguished by its curved, refined silhouette, its four splayed legs, and its magnificent floral marquetry decoration. The top, richly crafted, opens like a portfolio to reveal a gaming surface lined with green felt, preserved in excellent condition.
The table also features a practical drawer for storing game accessories. The combination of decorative marquetry, the dynamic lines characteristic of the Louis XV style, and its function as a game table make it a particularly decorative and sought-after piece.
