TEAC - A-9 / T-9 Hi-fi set - Multiple models

Here is a splendid vintage Hi-Fi set from the renowned Japanese brand TEAC, comprising the TEAC A-9 integrated amplifier and the TEAC T-9 stereo tuner.
Both components have been tested, are perfectly functioning, and are in excellent cosmetic condition. They show only minimal and normal signs of age, visible in the photos.

This set belongs to the iconic top-tier series produced in Japan in the early 1980s (historically known as the ACE-9 series), which became famous among enthusiasts for its unmistakable futuristic “retro-tech” style.
Characterized by a sophisticated design with spectacular colored LED indicators and vibrant chromatic inlays, this line represented one of the highest expressions of hi-fi aesthetics of the era.
Beyond the visual impact, the series is renowned for its extremely high internal build quality: the A-9 amplifier stands out for its encapsulated toroidal transformer and for its excellent sound transparency, while the T-9 tuner offers extremely precise automatic-scanning digital tuning by the standards of the period. These are rare pieces, today highly sought after by collectors and difficult to find on the market.
