Large vintage mushroom lamp in hand-blown marbled pâte de verre glass from France, 52 cm high and 35 cm diameter, Art Deco / Art Nouveau style with double illumination for the shade and base, in excellent working condition.
Description from the seller
Large vintage 'pâte de verre' glass mushroom table lamp (52 cm) – Art Deco / Art Nouveau style – Second half of the 20th century – France
A very beautiful and imposing vintage table lamp in the shape of a mushroom (lampe champignon), executed in the classic French Art Deco / Art Nouveau style. The lamp is made from heavy, high-quality hand-blown glass (pâte de verre) with a atmospheric marbled and speckled pattern in a vibrant yellow shade.
This XXL model features dual lighting: both the generous shade and the elegant glass base can be lit from inside. This creates a particularly warm, diffuse light that beautifully highlights the texture of the glass. The glass shade rests stably on a three-legged metal base and is secured via the three original notches in the glass edge.
Specifications and features:
Style: Art Deco / Art Nouveau (retro reproduction)
Period: approx. 1970s / 1990s
Material: Hand-blown marbled glass (pâte de verre), metal fixture
Dimensions: Total height approx. 52 cm | Shade diameter approx. 35 cm

Brands/Signatures: Unbranded (in the style of Schneider / Muller Frères / Vianne)
Condition:
The lamp is in excellent, fully working and original vintage condition. The glass is completely intact: no cracks, fractures, or chips (also not around the shade’s mounting holes). The underside of the base is neatly ground and polished.
