Description from the seller
Canon AE-1 + Canon FL 1,2/58 mm.
This splendid set from the mid-1970s is in mint condition and works 100%. The camera has a built-in light meter, powered by a battery in a compartment on the right front. The extremely bright lens makes photography in poor lighting easy. A distinctive feature of this lens is the very slight radioactive emission due to the addition of thorium oxide in the glass of one of the lens elements. The radiation is minimal and completely harmless. Given the age of the lens, the thorium has oxidized somewhat, which is evident from the somewhat pink glow of the middle element.
Shutter speeds of 2 – 1/1000 sec, self-timer, flash hot shoe and extra flash contact. At the shutter speed you set, the camera selects the appropriate aperture, which can be followed in the viewfinder.
This sought-after combination belongs in every Canon collection. The set weighs approx. 1 kilo.
