Rack - Gilt wood

Gilded wooden wall shelf, Baroque in style. Wall shelf or console with an elongated rectangular shape, carved, pierced, and gilded wood. The frontal lip is richly decorated with scrolls, acanthus swirls, and vegetal motifs, topped by a continuous frieze of stylized leaves. It has two metal mounting fittings on the back.

European work in Baroque Revival taste, probably Italian, from the 20th century. The back confirms it is carved wood.

In good condition. Suspension hardware replaced. No structural fractures. Dimensions: 80 × 10 × 12 cm.
