Pair of wall brackets in carved and gilded wood, with cut tops and framed by a raised vegetal-inspired frieze. Vertical supports decorated with garlands of roses and other flowers in high relief, resting on curved arms. Backs with metal hardware embedded for hanging.
European workmanship, probably French or Italian, of Louis XVI taste, datable to the late nineteenth century, around 1880–1900.
In very good condition. They show wear and darkening typical of age. On the back there are old holes for wall mounting. No structural fractures.
