Art Nouveau wall plaque in carved wood - around 1900.

Decorative wall plaque in carved wood, patinated and varnished, with an elongated rectangular shape and curved sides. Decoration composed of asymmetric floral bouquets in high relief, hanging from rings and distributed over a sunken field. Inner frame ornamented by a continuous frieze of vegetal scrolls.

Continental European work, executed between the late 19th and early 20th century, about 1890–1910. Art Nouveau/Jugendstil aesthetic with Japonisme influence. Metal suspension ring on the back.

Good overall condition, showing superficial wear compatible with its age.
