Walt Disney Productions - Mr. Mouse Takes a Trip – Limited Edition Sericel - Mickey Mouse & Pluto

Official Walt Disney Company limited-edition sericel inspired by the classic 1940 Mickey Mouse animated short Mr. Mouse Takes a Trip.

The colourful composition depicts Mickey Mouse dressed for his journey in a straw hat, standing beside his green suitcase, while Pluto humorously carries his own box in his mouth. The scene captures the cheerful travelling theme of the celebrated Disney short.

Mr. Mouse Takes a Trip was released on 1 November 1940 and directed by Clyde Geronimi. In the film, Mickey attempts to travel by train with Pluto despite the conductor’s strict “no dogs allowed” rule.

This is a collector’s sericel produced by transferring the character artwork through the serigraph process onto transparent cel material. It is not a one-of-a-kind hand-painted production cel and was not photographed frame by frame during the making of the original cartoon.

CONDITION:

Good vintage collector’s condition overall. The character artwork retains bright colours, strong black outlines and an attractive presentation.

Some light surface and handling marks are visible, including fine scratches or scuffs in the lower-left area around Mickey’s shoes, together with occasional small marks, specks and minor wear to the surrounding background and edges. These imperfections are visible in the detailed photographs and should be considered consistent with previous display or storage.

No individual edition number or accompanying certificate is shown in the photographs. The exact item pictured is the item offered.

Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the condition description.

The sericel will be carefully protected and securely packed for shipment.
