Military-Conversion H0: 2 flatcars with cargo

4-axle flatcar with E-100 recovery tank with crane.

Recovery equipment: Conversions show the chassis usually with a massive earth spike (rear spade) for anchoring in the ground.
Lifting device: A heavy swiveling boom crane (A-frame) on the modified upper deck—cable winches: An internal high-performance winch that theoretically would have been strong enough to tow other super-heavy vehicles like the Maus or other E-100 variants.
Armament: For self-protection, a smaller, lightly armored structure with a command turret or a machine gun is usually fitted.

6-axle flatcar with recovery tank Tiger (P)

Recovery tank Tiger (P) (often also referred to as Bergetiger P) was a heavy German recovery and towing vehicle from World War II. It was based on the chassis of the Panzers VK 45.01 (P) or Tiger (P), designed by Ferdinand Porsche but not brought into series production.

In total, five examples of this type were rebuilt in the autumn of 1943 at the Nibelungen Works. Three came from unused Tiger (P) prototype chassis, while two more were converted from battle-damaged Jagdpanzers of the Ferdinand type.
