Description from the seller

Lot Description
Exceptional scientific-collector ensemble produced by the Istituto Geografico De Agostini (Novara) between 1972 and 1974. This lot comes from my grandfather’s private collection, a professional collector who preserved every element with extreme care and scientific rigor. It is a museum-grade "time capsule" of mineralogy, preserved in museum-like conditions and complete with every original accessory.
Lot Components:
Cabinet and Sampling: Original wooden structure with 4 numbered drawers (1-120). Contains 120 mineralogical and petrographic samples (including Malachite and other rare specimens) in their original positions.
Scientific Documentation:
Original Card File: Box with technical cards accurately detailing the place of purchase/find, weight, and mineralogical details of each specimen.
PIECE STRONG - 2 Sealed Green Blocks: Original spare parts for descriptive cards ("Replacement for wallet cards") still sealed in the factory-original cellophane. A nearly unobtainable "New Old Stock" detail on the market.
Reference Library (4 Volumes):
2 Large Volumes: "Guida Mineralogica d'Italia" by Vincenzo de Michele (1974), complete with intact original cartographic maps.
2 Small Volumes: "Dizionario di Mineralogia" and "Atlante di Mineralogia" (1972).
Exhibition Specimens (Weights Verified):
Limonite (Elba Island): Historic massive specimen on an original slate base. Total weight: 420g.
Celestine Crystal (Brazil): Single crystal mounted on a wooden base with a red label. Total weight: 116g.
Amethyst Geode (No. 198): Splendid geode in its original protective display case. Total weight: 92g.
