Old hammered metal security money box – Industrial coffee table/desktop safe with key - Circa 1960

Beautiful money box (or portable small safe) in heavy steel from the 1960s.
This industrial item retains its original patina with a very beautiful green hammered finish, typical of office and workshop equipment of the era.
The box opens on a two-level system: a removable compartmentalized metal tray (ideal for sorting coins, jewelry, or small crafting tools) that lifts to reveal a large lower storage space.
