AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
TITLE OF THE LISTING:
Rare Advertising Wall Clock "Caffè Mokarabia" – Icon of Italian Vintage Bar Design
DESCRIPTION:
In an auction, an exceptional piece of Italian mid-century modern memorabilia: an original wall clock branded "Caffè Mokarabia", the historic Bologna roastery founded in 1951.
This lot represents a perfect testimony of Italian industrial design applied to the commercial furnishings of bars and cafes in the second half of the 20th century. Characterized by clean lines, an elongated geometric aesthetic, and a strong visual impact, it fully embodies the bold, graphic style of the era’s "Made in Italy".
The color combination is a timeless classic: the white background highlights the minimalist radial dial on the left, while on the right the unmistakable Mokarabia logo dominates on a black and red band. A superb piece, ideal for enriching a collection of vintage signs, to decorate a tavern, a kitchen, or to give an authentic vintage touch to a commercial venue.
