(NEW MATERIAL) Acicular gypsum floater - Height: 12.4 cm - Width: 7.5 cm- 32 g - (1)

New gypsum floater crystals from a new find made by a couple of collectors in August 2026. The locality is currently undisclosed and we are the only people with access to the material, but maybe with time we will get to know more. This piece in particular consists of an intergrown fully floater ribbon of tiny gemmy gypsum bursts with great luster and a light cream color. This material reminds me of the San Timoteo gypsum crystals but a bit shorter and stalkier, with no matrix and with the same sparkly luster, and frankly it is probably going to be a great new addition to Spanish mineralogy.
