An authentic Art Deco glass vase designed by the renowned Rudolf Schrötter in 1934 for the Inwald glassworks in Czechoslovakia. This specific model, catalog number 18662, stands as a prime example of geometric modernism, featuring a heavy clear glass body adorned with a striking, stylized palm leaf or herringbone relief.
The piece elevates from a solid square base into a cone shaped body with a signature wavy rim. Measuring 22 centimeters in height, this item is highly sought after by collectors of pre-war Bohemian pressed glass.
In excellent antique condition with no repairs. Normal ageing with minimal traces of time and use, mostly fine scratches here and there and micro bubbles, typical for this technology and period. Overall impression is great. No chips and broken pieces.
