Magnificent bas-relief / altar plaque in silvered metal on hand-engraved leather, depicting the Sacred Heart of Jesus with exquisite detail in the facial features.
Original work signed by the French goldsmith-engraver R. Wicker. Mounted in its original wooden frame on a leather background
Good condition with patina of use
As with all my items auctioned on this site, this marvel has undergone no cleaning (only dusting), nor any modification since purchase
