Description from the seller
Antique Center Table in Nutwood with Carved Marble Top
Elegant antique coffee table in Louis XV style, characterized by a refined walnut wood structure finely hand-carved. The subtop band features rich raised decorations with floral motifs, volutes and sculpted ornaments, harmoniously continuing along the cabriole-shaped legs.
The base is embellished with curved and shaped stretchers, centrally joined by a prominent decorative sculpted element. The four legs, slender and sinuous, end in scrolled feet with carved vegetal details, giving the piece an elegant and scenographic appearance.
The top, with its characteristic shaped outline and wavy profile, is made of veined marble in beige and cream tones, creating a refined contrast with the warm color of the wood.
A table with great decorative presence, ideal to be placed in the center of a living room, an entryway, or in rooms furnished with antique, classically styled pieces.
