Mongolia 1932/1963 - New and used stamps

The collection of new and used Mongolian stamps issued between 1932 and 1963 is distinguished by certain issues of considerable philatelic interest. In 1932, the complete series dedicated to the Mongolian Revolution was issued. Toward the late 1950s, the so-called giant and figurative stamps appear, in terms of size and color, focused on wildlife, sports, and animals that inhabit the Mongolian forests. In 1959 two stamps were issued for the Soviet Lunik III, while the following year two values were dedicated to Lenin's ninetieth anniversary. Also in 1960, a series of 8 stamps was issued for the Olympic Games held in Rome. In 1961 Mongolia returned to space with 4 stamps celebrating Yuri Gagarin, the first cosmonaut. In the following years there were progressive pictorial issues dedicated to the environment, nature, flowers, and animals, such as the 1963 fish series.
