Statue, Paar Engelen - Putti - 34 cm - Polychrome wood

Offered are a pair of beautiful authentic antique polychrome angel putti, originating from Italy, aged approximately between 1800 and 1850.

In good condition for their age, with some traces of paint, craquelure, and lovely patina.

A pair of angels with authentic colors, wings, notably the teeth that are artistically crafted, painted eyes.

One putti is missing pieces of wing, and a crack around the wrist (but not really disruptive).

The one is in dark red colors, with black hair, the other in green, with gold-colored hair; you can see they were made as a pair, same size and weight.

A fine piece of craftsmanship, a special object for a collector to acquire.

The photos give a good impression of the colors, shapes, and condition of the putti.

This lot sits in a tall segment.
