Crinoid - Fossilised plant - 26 cm - 35 cm

XXL crinoid originating from Morocco. These sea creatures belong to the earliest living forms that have inhabited the planet. Crinoids form a class of echinoderms, the only class of the subphylum Crinozoa. The class includes 648 living species and more than 5,000 fossil species. They are commonly known as sea lilies or feather stars.
