Description from the seller

Large vintage Italian modular bookcase, dating roughly to the 1950s/1960s, expression of the decorative taste of the postwar period.

The piece measures a total of 244 cm in width, 200 cm in height and 38 cm in depth. It is divisible into three modules, a useful feature also for transport: the two sides are 81 cm wide each, while the center one is 82 cm.

The dark metal frame frames shelves, storage compartments, doors and drawers, with metal profiles in brass/gold color. Particularly characteristic is the covering of the fronts, decorated with a vegetal/geometric motif in white, aqua green, dark green and beige.

Inside one of the drawers there is an original label bearing the inscription “F.lli Sormani – Mare dei Mobili – Seregno (Brianza)”, documented in the photographs.

A composition with a strong aesthetic presence, suitable for enhancing a living room, a study, a loft, a showroom, a shop or a professional environment.

Vintage furniture with signs of age and use compatible with its era. The photographs are an integral part of the description of its condition.

The sale includes exclusively the bookcase. All other objects visible in the photographs are excluded, including bottles, books, a printer, phones, pictures, photographs, a typewriter, lamps and decorations.

The piece is located in Milan, Italy. Local pickup is preferred; any specialized furniture transport would have to be arranged, with no shipping costs indicated in advance. The composition is divisible into three modules.
