Description from the seller
2016 Anna Maria Clementi:
Ca' del Bosco's Annamaria Clementi Dosaggio Zero is a vintage Franciacorta that expresses purity and expertise. Made with Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, and Pinot Noir from select crus, it ages on the lees for nine years. The "zero dosage" enhances its authenticity, while the name, dedicated to the founder, underscores the wine's deep connection to its roots.
Vintage Collection 2010:
The "Vintage Collection" range comes from 25 different vineyards, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Blanc, characterized by low yields and a particularly high level of quality.
In this "Recently Disgorged" version, abbreviated to "R.S."—a typology created in 1980 by the winery's brilliant and talented former winemaker, André Dubois—Ca' del Bosco once again confirms the astonishing evolutionary capabilities of the Franciacorta terroir, in a creamy and aristocratic interpretation, powerful, highly complex, and nuanced.
Now, after approximately 13 years of aging on the lees, the time has finally come to reveal the character and maximum potential to which the "Vintage Collection" can aspire.
In the glass, it is golden in color, with a persistent and very fine perlage.
The bouquet develops with medicinal notes, candied citrus, dried fruit, sweet spices, ginger, and sweet hints of baking.
On tasting, it replicates the sensations perceived on the nose, playing on savoury and enveloping notes, exciting and refined.
2014 Palazzo Lana Extreme:
Berlucchi's "Palazzo Lana Extreme" is an intense, full-bodied, and complex vintage Franciacorta Extra Brut, made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes and aged on the lees in the bottle for at least seven years. It expresses fruity, spicy, mineral, and toasted notes, with hints of candied citrus and fruit in syrup. The palate is soft, savory, enveloping, and minerally.
