Calcedony Murano glass sculpture, lamp-worked by Fabio Tagliapietra, depicting a group of gulls in flight.

The work stands out for its dynamic composition and the elegant overlap of forms, which conveys the impression of the wings in motion during flight. The distinctive calcedony effect, characterized by evocative color variations and irregular veining, creates reflections that change significantly depending on the light and the angle.

The silhouettes of the gulls are individually shaped by heat, lamp-working, maintaining a strong sculptural and gestural component. The transparent parts enhance the depth of the glass and the contrasts with the more intense calcedony tones.
