The Minolta SR-1 (1959) is an early member of Minolta's SR line, the series that established the company as a serious maker of 35mm single-lens reflex cameras. Fully mechanical and built to last, it needs no battery to operate. Its Minolta SR bayonet carries the celebrated Rokkor lenses — here the Auto Rokkor-PF 55mm f/1.8, a fast standard lens with the warm rendering that has kept Rokkor glass in demand, and one that adapts easily to modern mirrorless cameras.
Mount & Compatibility
This lens uses the Minolta SR mount (MC/MD series) and is a manual-focus lens for Minolta manual-focus film SLRs (SR-T, X-700, XD, etc.).
Note: The Minolta SR (MC/MD) mount is NOT the same as the later Minolta/Sony A autofocus mount and will not fit those bodies. On mirrorless it can be used with an MD-to-mirrorless adapter.

Please read carefully. There are black spots inside the prism which you will see when composing, and traces of fungus on the shutter curtain. The included Auto Rokkor also has haze and balsam separation, both of which will affect image quality — please treat the lens accordingly, or plan to use the body with another SR-mount lens. The camera itself is tested and operates properly and the viewfinder has been cleaned internally. Please review the photos before bidding.
