Excellent old hemp roll. - Textile - 800 cm - 72 cm

Splendid and rare vintage hemp roll, spun and woven by hand on period looms. As seen in the close-up photos, it shows the authentic handmade work of the past. The fabric is sturdy, substantial, and of a beautiful natural raw/beige color, without chemical treatments.
History and conservation: The roll was kept for more than 60 years in a family cabinet, completely wrapped and protected by a cotton cloth that preserved it over time. It was only opened to be measured and to take photos.
Suitable for creating natural home decor or for making clothing.
It may show small yellowish stains only in the first half meter, resulting from natural oxidation of the fibers and which come out with an appropriate wash.
