Description from the seller
Mobile Bar/Bar Cart Vintage in Bamboo and Reed – French Riviera Style, the 70s
A Timeless Elegance Touch from the French Riviera
We are pleased to present this splendid vintage furniture piece, which perfectly embodies the sophisticated and relaxed aesthetic of the French Riviera in the 60s and 70s. This rolling storage cart is not a mere functional object, but a true accent piece that carries with it the warmth and charm of the Mediterranean.
Design and Craftsmanship:
Crafted with artisanal mastery, the piece features a sturdy structure in natural, thick-diameter bamboo canes. The main body is characterized by refined panel work with diagonal reed (or rattan) slats, creating a geometric pattern that catches the light and adds visual dynamism. The intricate rattan tying details at the corners testify to the build quality typical of the era.
Style and Aesthetics:
This piece epitomizes the "Tropical Chic" or "Riviera Style," popularized by design icons like Gabriella Crespi or by high-end productions from companies such as Bonacina and Dal Vera. The warm color of aged bamboo harmonizes perfectly with refined bohemian interiors, seaside homes, or to add an organic Mid-Century touch to a modern space.
Height 90 cm Width 55 cm Depth 58 cm (with handle)
Design: Inspired by the elegance of the Côte d'Azur, versatile for outdoor and indoor use
Durability: Durable material, weather and UV-proof
Use: Ideal for decorative plants, seasonal flowers, or small shrubs
