The real car: Ultra-high-performance road version inspired by the lab car 599 XX. It is the third Ferrari to bear the mythic three letters "GTO" (Gran Turismo Omologata). Its 6.0-liter V12 engine develops 670 horsepower at 8,250 rpm, launching the beast from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.35 seconds.
The miniature: A precision masterpiece. The V12 engine layout is visible under the rear hood (for the real car), superbly suggested here through the photo-etched cooling grilles. Deep-gloss Rosso Corsa paint, satin dark gray wheels, red brake calipers, and carbon-ceramic discs reproduced to perfection. The cockpit reveals the race bucket seats and the detailed dashboard.

The real car: Unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2009, the 458 Italia marks a major stylistic and technological break designed by Pininfarina. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.5-liter V8 direct-injection engine developing 570 horsepower, capable of revving to an exhilarating 9,000 rpm.

The miniature: Very original and bold in the “Bleu Tour de France” livery with white stripes, bearing race number #24. The mini features complex aerodynamic appendages: rear wing spoilers, a massive diffuser, and center-lock racing wheels. The stripped-down cockpit style interior includes a roll cage and racing harnesses.
