Vintage Isos desk lamp designed by Giotto Stoppino for Tronconi, 1972, with a black enamelled aluminium structure and ivory ABS storage, dimensions 28 cm W x 28 cm H x 15 cm D, E14 bulb, in good used condition and fully functional.
Description from the seller
Vintage Isos desk lamp, designed by Giotto Stoppino and released by Tronconi in 1972. An original model that combines lighting and a compartmentalized pocket tray.
Created five years after Joe Colombo's KD29 for Kartell, the Isos explores the same idea of a compact luminaire with storage. It is distinguished by its architectural rectangular structure as well as its black-and-ivory contrast.
Italian architect and designer Giotto Stoppino worked with Vittorio Gregotti and Lodovico Meneghetti before opening his own studio in 1968. A figure of postwar Italian design, he collaborated notably with Kartell, Arteluce, Tronconi and Acerbis. He received the Compasso d’Oro in 1979 for the Sheraton furniture.
Very good overall condition for its age and the lamp is functional. Some scratches, small lacquer chips and traces of use visible on the black exterior and the ivory interior.
Black lacquered aluminum structure, ivory molded ABS storage and aluminum control. E14 socket.
Dimensions: H 28 x W 28 x D 15 cm.
Fast and careful shipping.
