Serving tray - .900 silver - Lot 1

Elegant antique serving tray in solid silver 900/1000, of Egyptian origin.

The underside bears several Egyptian hallmarks, notably the mark indicating fineness 900 as well as the national lotus flower mark, used for Egyptian silverware in the 20th century.

The tray features an elegant rectangular shape with a molded border and worked corners.

Total weight: 495 g.
At 900/1000, this theoretically corresponds to about 445.5 g of fine silver.
