Integrated Amplifier Sansui AU-417 – Revised & Optimized Amplification Boards.

Legendary integrated amplifier Sansui AU-417 (DC Integrated Amplifier), a sure-fire value in vintage high-fidelity. This unit has benefited from a targeted revision of its amplification boards (premium Nichicon/Panasonic FC capacitors, 1% metal-film resistors, replaced fuse resistors and new multiturn trimmers). All aging original glue has been completely scraped off and cleaned as a precaution, and fresh thermal grease has been carefully applied wherever needed. The original power transistors have been retained to preserve its authentic sonic signature. The unit also features a highly practical multi-country power voltage selector.

Technical strengths & Performance :
Delivering 65 watts per channel into 8 ohms, this amplifier stands out for its superb bandwidth (DC to 300 kHz) and very low distortion (0.02%). Its damping factor of 60 is a real asset: it ensures exceptional, tight control of the bass drivers, guaranteeing firm, fast bass with no flabbiness, even on demanding speakers.
