Rarest official regulation booklet ("Règlement") in Italian (with a French introduction) for the 10th edition of the Liège-Rome-Liège rally of 1951. XXI (Championnat) Endurance, Regularity and Grand Touring Championship for automobiles, held from August 15 to 20, 1951, on a 4,719-kilometer route in a single stage. The historic competition known as Marathon de la Route was an endurance race (reserved for touring and grand touring cars) on asphalt and dirt roads that started in Belgium and went to Rome and back. In the lot, the following leaflets including three forms to be filled for participation:
- Communication of the Royal Motor-Union
- Coupe des constructeurs : bulletin d’engagement” (engagement bulletin) ;
- Coupe des Associations ou Clubs : bulletin d’engagement” (engagement bulletin) ;
- Bullettin d’engagement (caractéristiques du véhicule engagé, carrosserie et diverse).
Winners: Johnny Claes and Jacques Ickx aboard a Jaguar XK120, among 126 entrants and 57 finishers (testifying to the difficulty of the route).
