Vintage Crowned Buddha Shakyamuni – Cast metal (Cire Perdue) – 21 cm

For sale: a beautifully detailed and hand-crafted Tibetan Buddhist statue (possibly Shakyamuni / Amitabha) with a height of 21 cm.

This atmospheric statue is cast using the traditional 'lost wax' method (cire perdue), clearly visible in the authentic hollow underside.

The statue features a beautiful, warm copper-and-bronze patina and is adorned with very fine details in both the crowned headpiece and the robes.

The Buddha is depicted in the meditative lotus position on a double lotus base. A serene and powerful object that fits perfectly in a Buddhist collection, on a home altar, or as a calming focal point in a modern interior.
