Beautiful, authentic German teddy bear from the 1950s (mid-century). This characterful bear was crafted using traditional, artisanal methods and remains in lovely vintage condition.

* Features & Details:
* Material: Golden-brown mohair fur with a nice, thick texture.
* Eyes: Authentic two-tone amber and black glass eyes.
* Muzzle & Claws: Hand-embroidered nose and mouth on a shaved muzzle. The paws feature the classic 4 hand-embroidered claw stitches.
* Pads: Fine velour/velvet material, typical for high-quality German post-war production (such as Richard Diem or Gebrüder Hermann).
* Structure: 5-way jointed (head, arms, and legs move freely) with a characteristically flat 1950s back profile.
* Stuffing & Sound: Traditional firm excelsior (wood wool) stuffing. Remarkably, the built-in tilt growler mechanism is still partially functional and produces a soft, nostalgic growl when tilted.
